Delivery Policy

This Delivery Policy applies to all consumer purchases made through Studio 198 Ltd and should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions.


1. United Kingdom Deliveries

1.1 Delivery Charges

  • Orders over £250 qualify for free standard delivery, excluding Sahco & Kvadrat products.

  • Orders under £250 are subject to a £10 delivery charge.

  • Sahco & Kvadrat products are subject to a flat £45 delivery charge, regardless of order value.

1.2 Delivery charges are displayed at checkout where applicable.


2. Lead Times

2.1 Delivery times vary depending on brand, product type, and availability. Typical UK delivery times range between 3 and 20 working days.

2.2 Any delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date.

2.3 Customers are encouraged to contact info@studio198.com prior to ordering if a specific delivery date is required.


3. Delivery Method & Risk

3.1 Most orders require a signature upon delivery. Sample deliveries may be exempt.

3.2 Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.

3.3 Customers must not accept delivery where packaging is visibly damaged. Any refusal or damage must be recorded with the carrier at the time of delivery.


4. Sample Orders

4.1 Samples are supplied strictly for colour, texture, and material reference only and must not be used for resale, manufacturing, or installation purposes.

4.2 All samples are non-refundable and non-returnable.

4.3 A maximum of ten (10) samples per customer applies. Studio 198 Ltd reserves the right to cancel sample orders exceeding this limit.

4.4 Samples are dispatched via Royal Mail. Studio 198 Ltd is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage during transit, although reasonable efforts will be made to assist where proof of damage is provided.

4.5 Customers must notify Studio 198 Ltd of missing samples within 30 days of the expected delivery date. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.


5. International Deliveries

5.1 International delivery times typically range from 16 to 30 working days, subject to destination and customs processing.

5.2 All international orders are supplied exclusive of local taxes, VAT, customs duties, or import charges. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.



Returns & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to consumer purchases and should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.


1. Statutory Rights

1.1 Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

2.1 Due to the bespoke and made-to-order nature of many of our products, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless faulty:

  • Fabrics cut to order

  • Made-to-measure or bespoke items

  • Wallpapers printed to order

  • Handmade or cut-to-order wallpapers

  • Part orders or leftover rolls of wallpaper

  • Orders placed using incorrect measurements supplied by the customer

2.2 Customers are strongly advised to order samples before placing full orders.


3. Returnable Items

3.1 Where returns are permitted, customers must notify Studio 198 Ltd and return goods within 14 days of delivery.

3.2 Returned items must be:

  • Unused

  • Undamaged

  • In their original packaging

  • Fit for resale

3.3 Wallpaper orders may only be returned as complete orders. Partial returns will not be accepted.

3.4 Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.


4. Restocking Fees

4.1 A 50% restocking fee may be deducted from any refund where goods are returned due to:

  • Change of mind

  • Customer dissatisfaction

  • Refusal to pay customs duties or local taxes

  • Orders correctly supplied and not faulty

4.2 Original delivery charges and return shipping costs may also be deducted from any refund.


5. Faulty or Damaged Goods

5.1 Customers must inspect all goods immediately upon receipt.

5.2 Any damage, defect, or discrepancy must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery, supported by clear photographic evidence.

5.3 Fabrics and wallpapers must be inspected prior to cutting, hanging, or installation. No claims will be accepted once goods have been altered or installed.

5.4 Where packaging is visibly damaged, customers must refuse delivery and notify the carrier immediately.


6. Order Cancellations

6.1 Orders may be amended or cancelled within four (4) hours of placement, during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:30am–5:00pm).

6.2 Orders with a value exceeding £1,000 that are cancelled prior to processing are subject to a 5% administration fee.

6.3 Orders that have entered production, been cut to specification, or made to order cannot be cancelled.


7. International Returns & Refused Deliveries

7.1 Where international deliveries are returned due to refusal to pay local taxes, customs duties, or import charges:

  • Return shipping and handling fees will apply

  • A 50% restocking fee will be deducted

  • Failure to respond to communications may result in cost recovery action


8. Refund Processing

8.1 Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe once returned goods have been inspected and accepted.

8.2 Studio 198 Ltd reserves the right to refuse refunds where returned goods do not comply with this policy.
