Etamine
Chapan draws inspiration from 17th-century Uzbek ikat weaving traditions, reimagined through the masterful craftsmanship of Kerala's textile artisans. Each piece begins with meticulous screen-printing across 12 distinct stages, building intricate patterns while preserving the depth and vibrancy of the colours.
The foundation features 5900 threads of dense BCI cotton in the warp, providing structure and durability. A premium silk weft is then interlaced, creating a fabric of remarkable softness and subtle luminosity. The result is a textile that honours centuries of weaving heritage while delivering contemporary elegance and tactile refinement.
