Kids Designer Wallpapers

Studio 198 brings together a considered edit of designer kids' wallpapers from internationally recognised houses, including Disney Home × Sanderson, Ohpopsi, Borastapeter, Mind The Gap, and our own Studio 198 label. Each design is chosen for its draughtsmanship and staying power, not simply seasonal appeal.

Every wallpaper in this collection is printed on non-woven paper: paste-the-wall, wipe-clean, and dry-strippable, the practical specifications that matter long after the initial installation is complete.

Designer Kids' Wallpapers: A Curated Edit for Children's Interiors

Children's spaces deserve the same design rigour as any other room in the house. The wallpaper lining a nursery or bedroom will be looked at — and inevitably leant on — for years. At Studio 198, we apply the same procurement standards to our kids' wallpaper collection as we do across every other category: quality of design, integrity of substrate, and longevity of print.

The result is a tightly curated range drawn from internationally respected design houses alongside Studio 198's own illustrated commissions.

The Brands in This Collection

Disney Home × Sanderson is the collection's anchor range — and its largest, with 12 designs. It brings together Sanderson's 160-year tradition of botanical draughtsmanship with the iconography of Disney, producing something that reads as genuinely decorative rather than purely novelty. Expect the kind of designs that will hold a child's attention for years, not seasons.

Ohpopsi offers 9 designs rooted in bold, illustrative murals — a British brand with a clear design voice. Their kids' range tends toward the adventurous end of the spectrum: oversized prints and confident colour that work particularly well as a single feature wall in a larger room.

Sanderson contributes 7 designs from its own children's collections — characteristically British in their use of organic motifs and refined palette. These sit well alongside furniture and soft furnishings from more traditional interior schemes.

Borastapeter, the Swedish wallpaper house with roots going back to 1905, brings a Scandinavian restraint to the edit. Their 4 designs in this collection favour quieter illustration and considered colour — a good counterpoint to the bolder ranges and well-suited to rooms intended to grow with a child.

Mind The Gap rounds out the collection with 3 maximalist, story-led designs. The Romanian design house is known for its cinematic approach to pattern, producing wallpapers that function more as illustrated environments than surface decoration.

Studio 198 contributes 6 original designs, including illustrated wildlife and nature-led prints produced on non-woven paper and available to order by the square metre.

Specification Notes

Every wallpaper in this collection is printed on a non-woven paper substrate, which offers several practical advantages:

  • Paste-the-wall application — no soaking, faster installation
  • Dry-strippable — clean removal when it is time to redecorate
  • Wipe-clean surface — resistant to the marks that children's rooms inevitably accumulate
  • Dimensional stability — non-woven paper does not expand when wet, reducing the risk of pattern misalignment during hanging

Wallpapers in this collection are sold either per roll or per square metre — each product page specifies the unit, and our built-in calculator helps you confirm the quantity required for your wall dimensions before ordering.

Samples

Before committing to a full order, we recommend requesting a sample. Studio 198 despatches samples directly from our suppliers, ensuring you receive a current production batch — the most reliable way to confirm colour, scale, and print quality against your project's existing palette.
