Xanadu draws its inspiration from the intricately carved Chinese lacquer doors that graced Tony Duquette's legendary Beverly Hills residence, Dawnridge. A visionary designer renowned for his inventive use of bordered printed fabrics—which he would ingeniously repurpose as chair skirts, valances, and architectural embellishments—Duquette's aesthetic philosophy infuses this linen print. Rendered as a panel design with classical fretwork friezes bordering the sides and centre, Xanadu faithfully captures the openwork elegance of the original carved doors.
