Every nanimarquina rug is handmade, produced by skilled artisans in India, Pakistan and Nepal using techniques passed down over generations: hand-knotted, hand-tufted, kilim and dhurrie. But the brand is as serious about ethics as aesthetics. It has worked with Care & Fair since 2002 to fight child labour and support weaving communities, funding schools and health centres. And sustainability is built in, not bolted on: nanimarquina is a Climate Neutral certified company, its outdoor rugs are made from 100% recycled PET from plastic bottles, and its Re-Rug collection is woven from wool leftovers.
