Barrier Cloth

Barrier Cloth was developed to be used with Brentano’s beautiful, plant-based fabrics that do not innately pass CAL 117 fire codes.  Barrier Cloth is 61” wide and is made from 100% Polyester.  Brentano’s Barrier Cloth passes CAL 117, Section 2 (barrier materials test) without the use of any fire-retardant chemicals, making Barrier Cloth the ideal solution for complying with CAL 117.  Barrier Cloth’s thin construction which comes in 3 colors, White, Beige, and Grey was developed through consulting with upholsterers to ensure both ease of application and color coordination.  A certified lab test certificate is available upon request. Barrier Cloth is discounted when bought in tandem with Brentano fabrics for the use of complying with CAL 117.
