Morris & Co
Rising to the surface of this densely packed design is a forest floor full of floral delight. Influenced by the composition of medieval woodcuts, William Morris designed Bower in 1877 as a vibrant tribute to the forest walks and flowers he so adored. Bough’s Green/Rose is the closest colour story to Morris’s original, whilst Indigo and Herball offer cooler variations.
Wallflower is inspired by the wallpaper hung in the drawing room of esteemed typographer, book printer and friend of William Morris, Sir Emery Walker. Wallflower returns to the Morris & Co. range after many years as a result of the collaboration collection between Morris & Co. and Emery Walker’s House.
