Casamance
Known as the “perfume island” because of its frangipane and coffee plantations, this island near Madagascar is home to a wealth of flora. It has inspired KOMBA, a canvas woven using wide raffia fibers, available in four natural shades. Produced using a palm native to Madagascar, raffia is a textile fiber made from its leaves. Recyclable and biodegradable, raffia lend itself perfectly to the simplicity of the weave.
