On the road leading to Machu Picchu you will pass through the small village of Yanama. It reminds us of the traditional spinning, weaving and dyeing workshops of the sacred valley. The fabric is made with a multi-coloured, mixed cotton yarn. With the different versions, there can be up to seven distinct shades and an irregularly coloured weave giving an artisanal look.
